Works as easy as binoculars: put some fluid on the front prism (see pictures).
Close the daylight plate. Look through the adjustable optic scale at the back.
Read the value on the clearly visible scale inside. Always clean the front prism with water as
battery fluid is very destructive. This provides a longer life cycle of the tester.
You can easily calibrate the tester by turning the screw on top to zero when testing with water.
