Hone

Hones with flexible shaft

Univeral for cylinders. These hones fit electric and power hand drills or pillar drills. Start honing at low speed. For honing aluminum use stones with fine grit 400 and honing oil. Working pressure is adjustable with the knurled nut on the shaft. Special arm design keeps the stones accurately in line with the cylinder wall. During honing the stones must make a light contact with the cylinder wall. Only hone with the stones completely placed in the cylinder. Make light vertical movements for a diamond shaped pattern to obtain better piston lubrication. All stones are available as spare sets. Use honing oil for the best result.
